Safari

Freak Of Nature Body Top From ASOS £24.99 (SOLD OUT)
Leather Panelled Leggings From H&M (SOLD OUT)
Vintage Brooch- Thrifted £2

So I'm actually celebrating today as I've passed my second year of pharmaceuticals with a 2.1.

I haven't rocked spikes in a while and thought my Steve Madden loafers and oversized clutch could do a with a little more loving as the weather has been surprisingly warm recently. However due to the weather being slightly breezy I decided to pull out my military jacket, which I added an oversized vintage brooch to the pocket just to add that extra bit of detail. I really  really love this Freak Of Nature Body Top, like really really LOVE it. I have had it sat around for a while now and have made a mental note of doing it proper justice on my blog. The safari print is amazing and I knew it would be perfect to pair with my berry leather panelled leggings. I honestly can't get over how amazing these leggings are. The leather panels and zip detail is amazing hence why I also purchased the leggings in black.

Super Cala Fashion Istic

Chanel Sunglasses (PICK UP A SIMILAR PAIR HERE)
Black Suede Ankle Boots From Topshop
Rings- Thrifted 20p

Black is such a happy colour darling? It's really not, yet another lazy, easy and arrogant look. I'v realised when in doubt- throw on black. Monochrome has to be my all time favourite trend right now, just because it really doesn't require much effort to put an all black outfit together with hints of white.  The blouse is one of my key pieces, detail is key especially in fashion, it's the little attention to detail that make the big difference in an outfit... I LOVE the lace arms and lace neck detail under the collars, this blouse is certainly a statement piece. Teamed up with my PU skater skirt- another staple piece I will forever get my wear and tear out of. There's no point buying something and wearing it once! The idea is to wear it over and over and over again but master how to refresh your look with accessories and how to make it fit every purpose.

Va-Va-Voom Vintage Chanel

Vintage jewellery can be a powerful addition to your jewellery wardrobe. Each piece has it's own story to tell. Plus it can be a great investment piece. I am actually obsessed with finding vintage Chanel necklaces and this is my first piece. I picked up this little beauty from DustyDiamonds- An amazing online jewellery store who donates £2 from every purchase to charity.

This beauty speaks for itself; A simple and classic Chanel design.

White on White

White sheer blouse from TheCloset £22
Lipsy Joni Cutout Sandals from Very £25
White Studded Jeans
Vintage Necklaces- Thrifted £2.50
Chanel Bag

One colour outfits are "MAHHUUSIVE" for the summer and I'm loving white on white. It's so unbelievably chic and sophisticated. I love a monochromatic palette, it's simple and classy yet tiny details can make a bold statement. Even celebrities have been spotted wearing monochromatic outfits, Rihanna and Kim Kardashian have been spotted in all-white ensembles. I am not usually one to be obsessed with every single trend but this one I am in love with, the purity of white really does make a statement. This trend has definitely won me over.

This look speaks for itself, the sheer blouse with the silver diamanté collar added perfect detail to the outfit, teamed up with some heavy duty silver neck candy and the Chanel bag added that extra touch of 'Class' to round the look off.

Inspirational Quote

If you keep going backwards with the same people that God has intentionally removed from your life, you will continue to stay stuck. There is no joy in being confused and unhappy. Get rid of old bad habits and leave them where they belong. What is meant for you will be yours, learn to let go. Dysfunction isn't love.I have realised when someone is not meant to be apart of your life God removes them in any possible way. Just take it as a sign that person was never meant to be apart of your life and that God has a better plan for you. We may plan' but his plans are always better, where just not in a position where we can see the future. So take blessings from every loss. Stop thinking about how the past hurt you and start being thankful for what it taught you. Don't get caught up in emotions and don't pine for something that wasn't meant to be yours. Don't allow people with no purpose to distract you away from yours. Some people just don't deserve the opportunity to faze you or the power to make you mad. You will get it wrong at times so expect to be judged, expect to be doubted, expect to be talked about, but understand that your mission is greater than your mistakes. Don't waste valuable time trying to prove yourself to pointless people. Accept where you've been, understand where you are, and focus on where your going. Let God handle the rest.

Going Bananas Over the Ben Nye Powder?

Ben Nye Banana Luxury Powder from Ebay £8

Formerly known as Visage Poudre Luxury Powders, these ultra-neutral powders provide superior matte and subtle finishing. Often compared to French powders with silky-fine textures. the Ben Nye Bella line of powders are translucent with just a hint of colour.

This product has become very popular among the world of beauty. It rocketed to fame when Kim Kardashian posted a picture of herself with the powder packed on her face. If you are a fan of Kim Kardashian you will know that her make up artist uses Banana Powder to set her concealer. There is no denying that Kims make-up always looks flawless and by using this product your skin will look just as good as hers does. After watching many YouTubers and Make-up artist raving about this product I decided it was time to get my hands on it. I ordered mine off ebay as it was fairly cheap.

Unlike translucent powders, this Ben Nye Luxury Banana Powder is yellow based which helps prevent your skin from looking ashy. It can be used to highlight areas that need yellowness to counteract darker tones, brighten under the eye and around the face to enhance contouring, hides discoloration, redness and flaws. If you're one to use under-eye concealer then you know the importance of using a setting powder to prevent the concealer from creasing and settling into fine lines. The Ben Nye Banana Luxury Powder does just that! When the correct amount of powder is applied with either a sponge or brush, this powder sets your concealer leaving a silky matte flawless finish.

The powder itself is really finely milled and super soft to the touch, it blends effortlessly into the skin and looks incredibly natural. I find it doesn't cake or enhance areas of my skin that are dry or oily. The banana powder looks smooth and silky on the skin with a natural satin finish. I find it compliments my skin tone well but I do think this product is more suited to medium and darker toned skin rather than fair skinned girls as the yellow might be too obvious.

I absolutely LOVE the finish this product gives AND is now one of my kit staples.

Maxi Heaven

Maxi Dress from TheCloset £28
Crotchet Waistcoat from TheCloset £10
Silver Neck-Candy- Thrifted £2.50

I absolutely adore this maxi dress and the fact that I have it in 3 colours is proof of that; emerald green, peachy orange and chocolate brown. The dress fits perfectly. The great thing about this colour blocking maxi is you can wear it all year round. The key to wearing it over and over is to master how to refresh your look with accessories and how to make it fit every purpose. Iv paired this dress with silver accessories and a crotchet waistcoat- remember less is more.

If you don't already have this staple in your wardrobe, here are some basic tips for buying a maxi dress; Firstly Consider the length- women of any size or height can wear a maxi dress, but tailoring the length is a must. If you find that all dresses are a few inches too long, consider buying the dress for the fit and then taking it in to be shortened or hemmed at home. Secondly Look for a defined waist- as the most flattering dresses are narrowest at the natural waist or consider adding a statement belt. It helps to break up the visual line of a material.

Gold Lace

Lace Floral Top From TheCloset £18
Nude Skirt From TheCloset £22
Black Blazer From Topshop £32

I am showcasing my lovely new Chanel sunglasses to you all. These badboys were not cheap. They retail for around £250. However I was very lucky as I was fortunate enough to pick these badboys up in duty free at Manchester airport. They're VERY PRICEY but I have been lusting after them forever so I think I can justify it a little... although it does seem crazy spending £250 for sunglasses when we only get like 10 sunny days in the UK. But nonetheless I LOVE them!

This skirt is my absolute favourite skirt I own and my official 'summer skirt'. It's the perfect length and will look amazing paired up with crop tops and blouses. The slit in the skirt is perfect for that flash of 'flesh' but in my case flash of leg. The black blazer and lace floral crop top with gold shimmer adds perfect detail to the look. Gold being one of my favourite colours I was easily able to match a pair of gold gladiator sandals to complete the look. The best highstreet shop at the moment who are doing similar shoe designs to Topshop but at half the price is Primark! so I advice you to look there first, they have some amazing sandals in at the moment.

Monochrome' Badabing Badabang

Monochrome' Badabing Badabang

`

Black & White blazer from TheCloset £26

Jumpsuit from TheCloset £22
Heels from Topshop £90

'Black is modest and arrogant at the same time. Black is lazy and easy- but mysterious. But above all black says this; I don't both you- you don't bother me'- Yohji Yamamoto.

This look was lazy and easy, it really didn't take much effort to throw together. The all in one jump suit has to be one of my all time favourite pieces from SS13. Teamed up with a pair of sky scraper heels and a monochrome blazer and badabing badabang you have your effortless chic look.

Monochrome is big news this summer. And one of my all time favourite trends. Although black and white is a classic, timeless look and a trend that never goes out of fashion, this new collection is bigger, bolder and will give you an effortless chic look. This seasons palette is simple yet makes a statement in its own right. Its quite strange really that black and white will be rocked in the months where bright colours and pastels usually shine, but its such a lovely change. The great thing about this trend is how versatile it is. You can go geometric and mix prints as seen at Marc Jacobs or you could go playful with flower prints as seen at Prada or play it cool and minimalist, like Alexander WangThere is so much you could do with monochrome- its not just clothes that are getting a monochrome make-over buts its accessories, jewellery, bags and belts.

Alexander Wang. Marc Jacobs. Prada.

Daily Inspiration

Make sure you have people in your life that reciprocate the love you give. Make sure they appreciate the effort you put in. Don't ever feel bad for making somebody qualify to stick around. Your timing is the most precious thing you can spend. Not everybody will be able to handle you. Not everyone will know how to treat you. Not everybody will see your worth. So don't compromise who you are just to fit who they expect you to be.
