I Live In Black

Bambi Leatherette Sleeve Tunic From TheCloset £30 | Denim Jeans From TheCloset £20 | White Pointed Heels From Zara £30 | Necklace Stacks From Newlook £22

Although I'm definitely a summer girl who absolutely loves popping colour, I am still not over my obsession with BLACK clothes, and so rocking a Bambi Leatherette Sleeve Tunic seemed like my only option. Although living in England where we get 5 days of sun a year and constant rain is never really good for my outfits, but layering has become my best friend, if I'm not layering clothes I'm layering necklaces, stacks on stacks on stacks.

Mastering simplicity- I went for a simple look, so the Necklace-Stacks made the outfit along with the Chanel bag! Finally my white pointed shoes were a nice change!

Black Is Such A Happy Colour Darling!

Necklace Stacking from Newlook £22.50

Lets starts off with I'VE FINALLY GOT MY BLOGGING BUTT BACK INTO BLOGGING! Long time no blog. I really do need to keep up with this, it's just so easy getting caught up in university assignments, exams, more assignments and then WORK WORK WORK!

If you've been following me on Instagram lately, you'll realise I have been pretty obsessed with the colour white, grey and black! The colour black is taking over my life- Literally! Black is modest but arrogant at the same time. Black is lazy and easy- but mysterious. But above all black says 'I don't bother you, don't bother me' WORD!

Maxi cardigans are my thing right now. You will not see me without one on. It just adds that extra bit of class to any look. The grey fur gilet on top was pure genius. It gave it that half-fur, half-knitted cardigan look, something you would see in ZARA/ALL SAINTS but at half the price from TheCloset. The jumper was just thrown on, along with the Necklace stacking, another thing I am super obsessed with, NECKLACES. Stacks on stacks on stacks.

Baby' It's My Birthday!

IT'S MY BIRTHDAY!!!!!!
TBH I always find when it comes to picking a birthday dress, every year, I tend to leave it last minute. And surprise surprise that's exactly what I did this year. I literally left it 2 days before my birthday! Luckily For me, I had some sort of idea of the style of dress I wanted to wear, my heart was set on a maxi dress and so my search began. It basically started and ended at River Island! I ABSOLUTELY fell in LOVE with this sequin maxi dress (As seen on Tamera on Xfactor) but HATE the price tag. The dress was stunning and just as I imagined, even more stunning on.

My Aztec Obssession

Guess Who's Back!!! So I have finally managed to spare some time to get my BUTTT back into Blogging! And what better way to start than kick shxt off with my new clothing collection from TheCloset. I am absolutely obsessing over AZTEC prints! This Aztec parachute dress has to be one of my all time favourite piece from the collection, it falls perfectly, a simple but classy design with a gorgeous fall to it... I basically paired it with a pair of denim jeggings and black cut out boots from Primark, the detail on the boots are AMAZEBALLS, Primark is totally killing it this year with their collection.

And VIOLA here it is, a simple, yet elegant, classy and casual look that can be dressed up or down depending on the occasion, pair it with an oversized black clutch and heels on a night out or for a day look just simply throw a blazer or biker jacket over.

Tartan Mad

TheClosets Autumn/Winter Collection 2013 is now available to buy! I'm so excited for the launch of my new collection, I have had a kizzillion and one things to do these past few weeks, but I am finally on top of things. So I managed to do a quick OOTD snap. This was a last minute put together outfit. I kept it simple. TARTAN is 'MAHHUUSSIIVVEEE' this season, and what better way to kick off blogging with a tartan midi dress, which can really be dressed up or down depending on when you wear it. I popped on my long length black boxed blazer (I pretty much throw on top of everything) and a pair of black Chelsea boots for a more casual look. And Voila here you have it. To purchase The-Look simply visit www.theclosetfashion.co.uk

 www.closetfashionwear.co.uk

Boots, leathers and knit season has dawned upon us. yesss. It's that time of year! So I'm basically a walking talking advertisement of my shop. My nude knitted waterfall cardigan has to be one of my favourite fall pieces, I have it in 3 colours; black, beige and navy. LOVE IT! Thrown on top of my stripe cut out dress, how cute is this dress though? The design is simple but perfect to dress up or down depending on the occasion. Shoe love is true love! Pink boots?! yesss. I do like to stand out. NUDE is in HUUUUGGGGEE this season, and what better way to make a statement than to whack a pair of nude pink studded boots on your feet!

The Balm- Mary Lou Manizer

First things first, let me just rave about how beautiful the packaging is on this product. LOVE. LOVE. LOVE!

Highlighters might seem like an 'extra' step in your makeup routine, but if you're like me you will agree that its an essential staple piece to have in your makeup kit. I have loads of different face highlighters such as liquids, creams, powders and bronzing highlighters, but my favourite highlighter- Mary Lou-Manizer a champagne coloured, powder highlighter has to be one of my all time favourite products from The Balm.

So what's so good about this product? For starters, the texture is smooth, soft like butter and extremely pigmented. This honey coloured luminzer is the perfect hint of glow to highlight your face for flawless glowing skin, you can also use it as a shadow for popping out your eyes, brow bone or add it on top of your blush for a sexy glowing shimmer.

Naked Palette 2 DUPE Vs MUA Undress Me Too Palette

MUA released a palette called Undress Me Too and it is a DUPE of the Urban Decay Naked 2 palette. The urban decay is a pricey palette for £36, whereas the MUA dupe comes at a fraction of the price- £4.

This Urban Decay Palette is pricey (£36), but amazing nonetheless. I had my eye on this palette for awhile now. I wanted a palette with neutral colours and this delivers just that! Naked Palette 2 is a stunning collection of 12 taupe and beige eye shadows plus 5 brand new bonus extras. This collection delivers subtle neutral looks, smokey dramatic eyes and everything in between. Naked Palette 2 also comes with a travel sized Lip Junkie Lip Gloss and a double ended, cruelty free Good Karma shadow and crease brush – exclusive to this palette. Packaged in an art school inspired tin with hinged lid, the Naked Palette 2 is definitely a beauty experience you don’t want to miss out on!

Here are swatches of all the shades on my arm; As you can see the colours are super pigmented (Left To Right).

  • Foxy - Cream bisque with matte finish.
  • Half Baked - Golden bronze shimmer.
  • Booty Call - Shimmering cork.
  • Chopper - Copper shimmer with silver micro glitter.
  • Tease - Creamy pale brown with a matte finish.
  • Snakebite - Dark metallic bronze shimmer.
  • Suspect - Pale golden beige shimmer
  • Pistol - Light grey/brown shimmer.
  • Verve - Oyster shimmer.
  • YDK - Cool bronze metallic shimmer.
  • Busted - Deep brown shimmer.
  • Blackout - Blackest black with matte finish.
The MUA palette, as you can see, there really is no difference between the Urban Decay shades and these. Made up of 12 warm and timeless shades. I can honestly say I cant even see any difference in quality, I always use a good eye shadow primer and as long as you apply this first, the colours last equally as long. The pigmentation in the colours are the same but I do think the shadows are of a more creamier consistency as opposed to the Naked 2 which is a lot lighter to apply. Again this collection delivers subtle neutral looks and transform your minimalist day look into a sexy smokey dramatic eye in an instant.

Here are swatches of all the shades on my arm; As you can see the colours are super pigmented (Left To Right).

  • Naked
  • Devotion
  • Shy
  • Fiery
  • Lavish
  • Dreamy
  • Tranquil
  • Exposed
  • Reveal
  • Wink
  • Obsessed
  • Corrupt
These palettes are definitely worth owning, you get a versatile mix of hues in both matte, silk and shimmer finishes. The only thing I do love about the Naked 2 Palette is the packaging and tin it comes in, whereas the MUA palette I am less fond of the packaging. Nevertheless I cant wait to play around with both. I will post some looks up girls so keep an eye out.
